Hotel Indigo Phuket being built on Naithon Beach

Phuket, Thailand: Hotel Indigo, the boutique brand of Intercontinental Hotels Group, has announced the opening of its first hotel and resort in Phuket, Thailand.

The new luxury hotel, being built by Tiansin Property Development Co. Ltd., will be Hotel Indigo’s second in Thailand. Their first, The Hotel Indigo on Wireless Road, Bangkok, is scheduled to open by the end of 2012.

Conveniently situated fifteen minutes from Phuket International Airport, the new Hotel Indigo Phuket will be located on Naithon Beach.

The resort will comprise of one hundred and twenty rooms, fifteen villas, a restaurant, bars, a swimming pool and a spa.

“Globally, we are aggressively expanding Hotel Indigo’s distribution – our focus is on bringing our newest and fast growing Hotel Indigo brand into markets where there is demand, with current developments in key cities like New York, Hong Kong and Bangkok, where the first Hotel Indigo in Thailand will be located.
